A very well-made (and affordable) sandwich!
Been coming here off and on for most of my life. As a kid, my mom would take me here as a reward for being dragged into various women's stores. These days, I find myself stopping by on lunch breaks. Still as good as ever.
I enjoy that credit cards are now accepted, as this wasn't always the case. Love the open air seating, and the classic soda collection never fails to make me smile. There is ample parking adjacent to the shop, but it's fairly hard to find as it's located in the back corner of the mall. Worth it, though.
I'm partial to the honey mustard chicken, the French dip, and the pastrami and cheese subs. They are positively loaded with meat and fresh ingredients. For under $10, it's what I'd consider a good deal for a sandwich in this city.
The next time you find yourself in sleepy La Cumbre Plaza, don't forget to give this spot your business! -

The best deli in SB. It's like a walk back in time...fun old fashioned sodas, chips and decor, delicious sandwhiches...quick service and not overpriced!

This is a local hidden gem, great food at a super affordable price. The sandwiches are huge and they have a large assortment of chips and novelty sodas inside the deli.
I ordered the hot honey mustard sandwich; the bread was soft, with the slightest crisp and delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the 6" sub was more than filling.
The husband ordered the pastrami sub and omg was it bomb. His was definitely the flavor winner.
If you are going for lunch it would be best to place order ahead of time since they do get pretty crowded. -

Holy Guacamole! Wow! This one of the Best Sandwiches I ever had! It was exploding with flavor. I had the Italian Sandwich and everything tasted so fresh and delicious and juicy. Great customer service and plenty of parking. I would definitely come back.
